The Hope Foundation is looking for trainees from Asia, Africa, or Latin America to join our global education project Bridging Cultures – Embracing Diversity, Empowering Equality in Berlin.
As a trainee, you will help inspire young people aged 16–20 through interactive workshops, intercultural dialogue, and educational activities. You will organize and lead at least five workshops in schools, support engaging learning experiences, and contribute to events such as Spoons4Change (a cooking and dialogue format) and a community event (e.g., film night or discussion).
The project focuses on global perspectives, gender equality, social justice, and cultural exchange. Participants are encouraged to connect topics such as Global Partnerships, Indigenous Cultures, Tourism, or Gender Equality to their own country and lived experiences.
Duration: 28 September – 20 December 2026
Location: Berlin, Germany
Working hours: 20h/week
Compensation: €1,200/month
Anforderungsprofil
We are looking for motivated and open-minded applicants who are passionate about education, intercultural exchange, and social impact.
Applicants should:
• Be from outside Europe (Asia, Africa, or Latin America)
• Have a strong interest in global education, gender equality, and cultural exchange
• Feel comfortable speaking in front of groups and facilitating discussions
• Be proactive, adaptable, and willing to organize workshops and events
• Have good teamwork and communication skills
• Be fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
Application requirements:
Please send your CV, motivational letter, and a short presentation (approx. 10 minutes) on one selected topic (Gender Equality/Gender Equity, Global Partnerships, Indigenous Cultures, or Tourism) connected to your country.
